1 year ago THIS month we visited the current space we are in for the bakery just to “see what’s out there.”
Thank you always to everyone who comes out to support this little bakery of mine.
I’d say it’s going better than I ever imagined it would 💛

Today’s cake of the day is a vegan version of our Strawberries in Spring flavor- an orange zest vanilla butter cake with fresh strawberry layers and lavender buttercream.
We had so much fun decorating this cake & we love all our custom cake orders! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Cake of the Day: a cheerful butter-yellow birthday cake in our Strawberries and Cream flavor. This butter sponge cake with vanilla buttercream and fresh strawberries layered in between was a delight to make with the beautiful tulips and chamomile we sourced for this special cake. We will have Red Velvet personal cakes in the fridge all month. These tiny cakes are layered with our vanilla bean cream cheese buttercream and perfect for sharing with your cutie patootie, a bestie, your mamacita, or cozying up in bed with one as a special treat just for you ♥️✨
Thank you to everyone for your support over the weekend, we sold out on Saturday which was wonderful and so many of you came with your cash ready to buy cookies and other treats which was awesome to see.
We will be getting together our transactions from those days with the cash payments and making our donation to @borderangelsofficial soon, from the bottom of my heart we are so grateful for everyone that stopped by this weekend.
Absurd times call for absurd amounts of love, and we are definitely starting off February with that sentiment in everything we do here.

As a Latino owned small business whose family members of an earlier generation are immigrants, I wouldn’t be able to have this little corner of a bakery, a dream of mine, without their sacrifices.
As a small business who is almost 9 months in, we have made the difficult decision to remain open on Friday.
We stand in solidarity with the protests around the country and will be supporting our San Diego community how we know how, with work for our team, warmth for anyone who needs it, and care.
Please support other small businesses on this day who need to stay open, who have teams that cannot go with losing a day of work.
Cash is encouraged tomorrow and 100% of our sales on our cookies Friday and Saturday will go towards @borderangelsofficial.
